On behalf of the entire Tuskegee Family, I welcome you to Tuskegee University through the electronic gateway of the Business Information System Network (BISNet).  BISNet is an internet centered system sponsored by the United States Department of Agriculture's Rural Business-Cooperative Service (RBS). 

As a member of the RBS network, Tuskegee University joins a collaborative effort with RBS and all of the 1890 Universities plus Hampton University to improve the quality of life for rural Americans through community and economic development.  The goals and objectives of this program are consistent with the overall principles of Tuskegee University;  therefore, the partnership that we are entering stands to provide an mutually beneficial relationship for Rural Alabama as well as for the other states represented by the 1890 Universities plus Hampton University. 

As an 1890 land-grant institution, our mission has been, since 1881, to provide teaching, research and service to the members of our community and to the world.
