What are 1890 Colleges
and Universities?
1890 Colleges and Univerities are institutions that were founded under
the auspices of the second Morrill Act, that of 1890. The first one, enacted
in 1862, did not foster the southern and border states' widespread admittance
of Black people. It took the second Act and increased federal benefits
to prompt the states below and near the Mason-Dixon line to participate.

How Will Communication Take Place Among Participants over BISNet?
Not only will users of the system be able to read the information as
it appears on the screen, they will be able to print single pages as well
as voluminous reports easily and effortlessly from their computers. Moreover,
users will be able to create their own home pages and use them as communication
vehicles, as well. Still other ways that the World Wide Web allows communication
is through audio and video. Both can transmitted over the web.
